Taking good photos!

I have spent the last couple of days trying to find goos advoce on how to take good photos of my jewellery...you know, those with a crisp white background.

I have to say I have not been able to find anything simple enough that does not involve hight tech / professional equipment.

Maybe someone out there has some tips?
